advertise yourself and your member's texting keywords...
Furthermore, add a note stating that the member may remove this charge from their membership invoice as it is a voluntary donation.
We were told that the vast majority of members actually pay this, and it raises another $3000 per year for their community.
The purpose of this program
The purpose of this program is to remind people to bring their own bags to the store, but when someone forgets, the Chamber of Commerce wants to thank that person for shopping at their Chamber Member business and cover the cost if the first bag.
There is something that feels uncomfortable about forgetting your bags, so when you do, the Chamber of Commerce wants to help.
Although many stores want to cover the cost of the bag, they cannot because the law specifically states that the bag must be charged.
The Chamber of Commerce looks for sponsors that are NOT in the retail business so that they are not in effect paying for the bags (that would be illegal).
By having the Chamber of Commerce and its First Bag on Us sponsors in place, their is now a way to charge for the bag, but not charge the customer directly.
Sponsor logos will be included on the "First Bag on Us" bring your bags reminder stickers that will be placed on retail doors and near cash registers.
How it works
Bring Your Bags Promotional Stickers
Sponsors who are signed up to share the cost of this community awareness program, their logos will be included on the "First Bag on Us" stickers, advertisements, and other collateral materials.
You will get choose a keyword for your love story. It could be your names like ChrisAndTally, your nicknames like BooLovesRooster, or anything you choose.
When you give your keyword to friends and family, they can text your keyword to 72727, which give them the link to your mobile app where they can:
Our Member Assistance Team builds everything for you and then shows you how to have fun with it! They will upload photos, add your social media pages, details, etc. and then you get to share it with your wedding guest list.

Clayton Nylander of Lydian Dental Queen Creek, LLC - Queen Creek, AZ
A tale of decay, tooth loss, and love.
This story begins when I took a sabbatical from dental school. After mastering everything from check-ups to crowns, I wanted to learn more about the industry itself. What was it like to run and operate a private dental practice? What was working? What wasn't?
It was from these conversations that the idea for Lydian was born a new kind of dental experience that puts patients before profits and leaves customers with not just a healthy grin, but a smile on their face.
I took a year off to do research, meeting with dentists across the country. What I found was troubling. Large corporate chains were consolidating the space, squeezing out local dentists. Patients were unhappy, too. They dreaded trips to the dentist because they were uncomfortable and expensive.
Together, were changing the face of dentistry. We look forward to sharing it with you.
